Many Mudcatters know The Back Room as the venue of the Cottingham Live Club.

Paul, the owner of the Back Room, is a noted professional guitarist who plays regularly at Cottingham Live events. In response to requests he has formed The Back Room Blues Band to play electric blues music on Tuesday nights. Invited guests are also featured. Entrance £2.

To those who have been asking when these blues nights will start - they have started!

No - it is a shameless plug! And this is a shameless bump!

Attendance has been patchy so far. The band sounds good, anyway.

Blues on a Tuesday night, Back Room, 173 Hallgate, Cottingham.

Hi Calum, hopefully someone will move this thread above the line. Same place as Cottingham Live fok club-fab venue and Paul the musician in question is a genius on Blues guitar-so if you've nowt to do on Tuesday's go to The Back Room-the best venue in East Yorkshire.
