HOME TO IRELAND (Cathy Ross) I went over to Ireland to just say hello To honor ancestors who left long ago But when I saw the green hills and the mist rolling slow I knew that my heart had come home cho: I've come home to Ireland from 200 years To people with faces like looking in mirrors We sang some old songs, and we cried some old tears And I knew that my heart had come home. I wandered the lands my ancestors had known Killarney, Kilkenny, Tralee and Tyrone And wherever I'd go, 'twas "come in and sit down" And I knew that my heart had come home From the north to the south, they told one wish to me Peace for all Ireland, united and free For a land with no borders except for the sea A land with one heart and one home.
