Dear Santy Claws I didn't get all the CDs off my wants list as presents at Christmas so I've been spending my own money with the elves at CDNow, Amazon, Folklegacy and Camsco so the Mudcat elves can get a cut. Even old Tower Records UK, that I've mocked in the past managed to deliver one title (first time in six orders they could actually supply something on their list!) As well as getting extra titles by old favourites (Beryl Bryden, Leon Redbone) , I now know what some Mudcatters (Rick Fielding, Frank Hamilton [great stories, Frank] and Dan Milner) sound like and I know why 'catters rave about Nic Jones' Penguin Eggs, Judith Cook and Jim Kweskin (cracking version of Somebody stole my gal, a bit different to Billy Cotton) and, yes, it's cost me another CD rack but it was 10% off in the sales. Trouble is, my "wants" list is filling up again. Do you think you could do a Summer delivery as well, if I promise to be very good? RtS
