Dave Bulmer seems to have bought up the rights to back catalogue recorded by Bill Leader, but not the items he recorded for the excellent Topic label. He recored some excellent stuff which was issued on his own lable, Leader, and other excellent stuff, of which Nic Jones is a prime example, on a label which he called Trailer.

It's the fact that Dave Bulmer has cornered those wonderful recording, but now won't let them be re-released, that is sticking in many people's throats.

It is difficult, to fathom his reasons. As Dr John has said so succinctly, Motive: Not Known.
