I liked him a lot.....My favorite role was in "Hotel" where he played Keycase Milne, a hotel thief.

I remember Karl being interviewed by Michael Parkinson years' ago. One of his best roles must have been in Brando's very interesting western " Two Eyed Jacks" in which Karl plays a nasty baddy. I suppose most people will remember Karl from "The Streets of San Francisco". I true star who began his career in the golden age of Hollywood.

The best-known nose after Cyrano de Bergerac----I thought that he was a very accomplished actor,and admired his work tremendously ; I am glad that he lived for so long.

That's a good innings. I liked "The Streets of San Francisco" and I recall seeing him as a bad guy in a Steve McQueen western.

I never knew Malden except in the American Express commercials.

But check out the Wiki entry.   I think it's great the way he weaved his real name into so many performances.
