Subject: RE: Open Jam at Rabbi Sol's This Sunday 7/5 From: Rabbi-Sol Date: 06 Jul 09 - 11:12 PM You will all get your chance on Sunday, August 30th at the Borderline picnic and all day singing party. This will take place at the outdoor picnic area in the rear of the New City Ambulance Corps building, located at 200 - Congers Road in New City (Rockland County),NY. Since Jean Ritchie will not be hosting her annual event this year we have decided to continue the tradition. It will be the same setup as we had at Jean's. 12 Noon until they throw us out and free admission for all. Bring lawn chairs, your instruments, your voices, yourselves, and a pot luck lunch dish to share with 6 other people. We will provide the drinks (non-alcoholic only). As an added bonus we will provide a table for the musicians to display and sell their CDs. There is plenty of on site free parking and for those coming by public transportation, the Coach USA Red & Tan Lines bus from Port Authority stops right at our front door. In case of rain we will move it indoors. I plan to start a separate thread on this event tomorrow but those who see it here have a heads up on it. SOL |
