Subject: BS: Medical pot in Canada From: gnu Date: 09 Mar 10 - 06:06 PM Q 7. How much does the product cost? A 7. A packet of 30 seeds will cost $20, plus GST, and where applicable, PST. The dried marihuana costs patients $5 gram, plus GST, and where applicable, PST. But, you can claim it on your income tax. Which, of course may not be much if you need the pot for health reasons because you are sick. And, you can get a permit to grow your own. |

Subject: RE: BS: Medical pot in Canada From: Bobert Date: 10 Mar 10 - 08:22 AM $5 a gram is purdy high (no pun intended)... If my memory serves me there are 28 grams in an ounce so, hmmmmmmmmm... 28 X 5 = over a hunnert bucks an ounce... (Well, Boberdz, it's $50 a quarter ounce here in Pine Grove Holler, so $100 an ounce ain't all that bad...) Okay, $5 an gram ain't all that bad... What kinda seeds ya' get for $20 anyway??? Bet it's a bunch of Mexican seeds which ain't worth planting... 90% of them turn out to be male plants and the females you get ain't worth the Zig-Zags... They oughtta sell cloned plants in 4 inch pots from the real stuff... You know, sansamillion... Easy to take one big plant and take cuttings and root them with root-tone and sell them... Then ya know what you got... That's what almost all the domestic growers have been doing for years... (((Cough))) Gotta go... B~ p.s. Cowabunga!!! |

Subject: RE: BS: Medical pot in Canada From: Sawzaw Date: 10 Mar 10 - 11:41 PM Yep, when you are sick, you need drugs to keep you going. I am all for medical marijuana to help the unhappy, broke down, sick folks that just can't live without it. Viagra for the limp dicks. Crutches for the lame. Wheelchairs for the invalids. |

Subject: RE: BS: Medical pot in Canada From: maple_leaf_boy Date: 11 Mar 10 - 02:32 PM I know someone who takes it for medical reasons. Five dollars a gram. I thought it was ten dollars a gram on the streets. That's what I hear. |
|
Subject: RE: BS: Medical pot in Canada From: gnu Date: 11 Mar 10 - 04:21 PM Thing is, what you get on the street is what you get. A buddy of mine obtained some smoke from another buddy of mine a few years ago. His buddy got it from a local taxi driver "in the biz". He smoked up on a Friday eve with some beers while watching a hockey game with his buddies. Next morning at the grocery store, he fell down. His three buddies all had problems. The pot was obviously laced with sommat... pesticide?... who knows? If I was ever to smoke or cook again, under federal permit of course, I would buy the government stuff or local homegrown. Why take a chance? |
|
Subject: RE: BS: Medical pot in Canada From: maple_leaf_boy Date: 11 Mar 10 - 04:47 PM A lot of pot dealers lace it with hard drugs like cocaine as some documents claim, and I've herd tell of people spraying Lysol on their pot because it makes it more potent. |
|
Subject: RE: BS: Medical pot in Canada From: gnu Date: 11 Mar 10 - 04:55 PM Lace it with cocaine? Is that to addict the users? Lysol? Why don't they just soray it on tobacco then? Not organic enough, dude? |

Subject: RE: BS: Medical pot in Canada From: bubblyrat Date: 12 Mar 10 - 11:05 AM Yes,let's be done with all this "legal" crap, and let EVERYONE,including schoolchildren, have & use the stuff.Let stoned mothers drive their kids to school; let's allow train-drivers & airline pilots to smoke in the cab / cockpit.Give it to junkies in rehab, and psychotic murderers in Mental institutions.Let juries have it during trials, and heart transplant surgeons as they "gown up".Let's make it compulsory in the armed forces, and disqualify non-users from standing for political office. Let's just make it one of our "Five a Day" dietary requirements; Oh,and re-name the Green Party the Brown Party.Let's abandon money as we know it,and use it as currency. Let's give it away, instead of monetary foreign aid,to countries like Afghanistan and Pakistan-----that would stop all the violence, wouldn't it ?? Let's give it,in powdered form,to babies,so they don't have problems adapting to it in later life (if they live that long). |

Subject: RE: BS: Medical pot in Canada From: McGrath of Harlow Date: 13 Mar 10 - 12:05 PM After all the only thing that stops drunk mothers driving their kids to school and train-drivers and airline pilots getting totally boozed up in the cab/cockpit and so forth is that all alcoholic drinks are illegal... |

Subject: RE: BS: Medical pot in Canada From: McGrath of Harlow Date: 30 Aug 10 - 10:18 AM A packet of 30 seeds will cost $20 So is it legal to plant them? Seeds arent too m uch use otherwise, except as groundbait if you are fishing, and you can buy that in all kind of shops (in the UK anyway). Even if you aren't too interested in fishing. |
|
Subject: RE: BS: Medical pot in Canada From: McGrath of Harlow Date: 30 Aug 10 - 11:33 AM But planting them is decidedly illegal here. |
