I am touring a few shows with my friend, Author/Historian, Rickey Pittman. This is a sort of 'History in song and story' presentation.

We have events on these dates:

Tues Aug 3 in Atlanta GA Wed Aug 4 in Summerfield NC Thu Aug 5 in Harrisburg PA Fri Aug 6 - Sun Aug 8 in Windham NY Mon Aug 9 in Roanoke VA

Then I'll be Marshall MI Aug 13-15.

It's just beyond the Mass border.

Jed, do you have any idea what your schedule might be at Turkeyville, Aug. 13-15? Unfortunately that's the same week as the Great Lakes Folk Festival in East Lansing, but I'd be interested in getting down to T'ville to meet you and it'd be even better if it could be a time when I'd know you might be performing.

The schedule says I'll be up at about 1:30 on Sat and again on Sun - in both cases, just before the battle. Likewise I will be playing before the night battle at about 9PM.

I hope you can make it. I'll be there all weekend, probably playing most of the time in between at my camp - where I'll be set up to "demo" banjo, and talk a little about banjo and about CW era music.

I wish you were coming to the Carnegie Library in Carnegie. Their G.A.R. post has just been restored and it's wonderful. They have a nice little theater, so you'd have a good venue.

Carnegie is just outside of Pittsburgh, near the airport. But near enough to have a noise problem.

Hey, you could come to Pocatello! Play at the Veterans' Memorial Building. The only airline that flies in here is Sky West, and their prop planes land several miles from downtown.
