Subject: Current Favourites From: Llanfair Date: 04 Jun 99 - 03:38 PM Does anyone else listen to their favourite music whilst online? I've got Steeleye Span "Time" playing at the moment, but I have been listening to John Lennon......brilliant "Working Class Hero"....and Catatonia. Just because I'm a folkie doesn't mean I can't absorb all kinds of stuff!!! What's everyone else listening to? Hwyl, Bron. |

Subject: RE: Current Favourites From: Bud Date: 04 Jun 99 - 11:17 PM I like to listen to either Gregorian chant (my current favorite is "Crown of Fire" issued by the St. Paul Film Foundation) or collegiate glee songs, like "A Century of Brotherhood" which was produced at the 1997 Sinfonia Recording Festival. There might be some quibbling about the first falling into the category of folk music, but the Mudcatters seem to be flexible. |

Subject: RE: Current Favourites From: Date: 04 Jun 99 - 11:32 PM There was a long thread about this within the last year - I have no idea what it was called but if we keep moving the thread to the top someone who remembers the thread title will drop in and remind us. Some really wonderful stuff was mentioned. Sorry, I know that this is the classic Mudcat response to one thread in every 10 - "we had a thread on this a while ago and it was really good". I'm not trying to stop this conversation - just add some more responses to it. If I could find the thread I could cut and paste the list I made in that one, but because I listen to every kind of music there is (almost) it takes too long to write it all out again. Helen |
