No, the reason why I am asking is that I have a book for Little Hawk and the cost to mail it is outrageous so I figured someone might get it into Canada where the shipping would be reasonable...

I think you'll find that the postage rates from the US to Canada aren't much different than they will be within Canada - Canada's postage rates for parcels are exorbitant - it may even cost more to mail it within Canada.

Edmund and Charmion live in Ottawa, Ontario, according to the Getaway attendees list from 2010 -- they missed last year, so we'll be glad to see them back!

Yes, we are coming to the Getaway. Yes, we will bring Bobert's parcel back with us -- but only if we know what's in it before we hit the border. Mailing even a large-ish box from Ottawa to Barrie is no big deal.
