I forgot to write "BS" in the threadtitle, so if you are allergic to BS, skip this thread.

The "humble" thread sparked me to ask about something which has puzzled me since seeing *Pulp Fiction.*

I commented to the guy I saw it with (the most recent ex) that the Bruce Willis wife character -- the hot little French number -- was your ultimate brainless bimbo sex object. The whole point of her character was that she was so dumb she forgot the watch, no matter how many times "Bruce" reminded her.

response? "Oh, no. No she wasn't. I don't think she was."

Now, dear brother-type guys, do you agree with me that this is thinking with your dick, or did you not think that the character was a brainless bimbo?

If you didn't see the movie, you don't have to answer.

thanks for satisfying my curiousity.

MA

Well, I will say one thing ... this is one thread that should definitely have the letters "BS" preceeding it, because it epitomizes the term ... moonchild

Bimbo, but a very cute bimbo with a wonderful outrageous accent.

Butch had a wife? I don't remember that at all...neither did he after he met Uma!

Travolta almost tumbled with Uma; Bruce was the fighter who stiffed the mob boss ... and then rescued him from the guys in the basement?? You have to remember THAT scene.

MAG, NOI, but if by "bimbo" you mean young, foolish, highly impressionable woman who is constantly be taken advantage of by men who "think with their dicks" as you say, yea, I guess she qualifies.

Love, annap

this thread title was too intriguing to let pass ....

MAG - it sounds like your friend's response may have been a factor in his timely (or otherwise) demise (you listed him in your comments as your most recent ex).

As far as thinking with my dick (which I may have done on occasion) ... well I don't remember the young woman in the flick being all that inspiring ... but then maybe that's age thing!

She was the only woman he had ever met with the sense to wean him off that stupid watch.

My own highly intelligent partner also inexplicably forgets my repeated instructions on no account to throw out that dreadful shirt from the sixties. But it is a sad comment on my intelligence, not hers, that I climb into the garbage compactor to retrieve it.

Anyway it should be 'bimba'. A bimbo surely is a bleached-blond brainless male.

No, Anna, by bimbo I really meant un-bright. and she FORGOT the watch. and yes, ... well, never mind.

MAG, she fits the bimbo role - sexually active and emotionally responsive but with an intelligence lower than that of gravel. I just tend to think in terms of the phrase 'blonde bimbo', and often think of the added character trait of over concern with their own appearance and she isn't blonde and not that fixated on her looks. But, yes, bimbo would work, she seems nice though but not someone I'd want to spend hours chatting with.
