If anyone is going to be in Edinburgh about the time of the Edinburgh Festival this year, Ive just found details of a pretty impressive sounding folk event taking place on 19th and 20th of August at Lennoxlove House, Haddington, an old castle about 20 miles east of the city. On the bill are,amongst others, Paul Brady, Sharon Shannon, Hothouse Flowers, Mary Black, Capercaillie, Dougie McLean and,the reason Ill be crossing most of central europe to be there, the reformed Incredible String Band. So - now Im gonna try my first-ever attempt at a blue clickey thing. Hmmmmm. Click here ( If this didnt work, PLEASE someone tell me what Im doing wrong!!) John
