Subject: RE: Hearme -now From: Caitrin Date: 02 Apr 00 - 07:50 PM Well, it's Sunday evening, and there doesn't seem to be any Hearme going on. Since I don't know how to do the mysterious blue clicky thing, I'm just refreshing this one. I'll hang out in Hearme and sing to myself until someone else shows up. |

Subject: RE: Hearme -now From: Dulci46 Date: 03 Apr 00 - 08:39 AM What time zone is Hearme in. I thought it started at 7:00 but kept getting unavailable messages. I posted to a thread at 7:45 my time and the time on it was 8:45. I could not get anything but unavailable. I wrote for help and got the message back that I had missed it. I did find something I thought was it but there were no names in the box in the corner. HELP Finally gave up. |

Subject: RE: Hearme -now From: MMario Date: 03 Apr 00 - 08:52 AM we usually post to hearme thread using MudCat time, which at the moment is Eastern Daylight Time (US and Canada). Those who are out of that time zone are very nice about converting....*grin* so if a post has gone up saying we are in there "now", now is the time of the post....EDT |

Subject: RE: Hearme -now From: Mbo Date: 03 Apr 00 - 08:56 AM Dulci, our little get-togethers in Hearme start at 7:30pm EST. Some of us get there a little early, but really you can go into Hearme whenever you want. Names showing up in the box means there are others there--I am puzzled by the "unavailable" message. Hearme is ALWAYS available, you just need some people in there to listen to you, but still, even if no one is there, you can still sing to the empty room--it should say "unavailable"...I'd ask Jon Freeman about this, for he has set up this Hearme room on his own site, he knows the most about it and can probably help. --Mbo |

Subject: RE: Hearme -now From: Jon Freeman Date: 03 Apr 00 - 06:34 PM Dulci, I did email you - sorry I was so late in spotting it. I will mention this here incase anybody else had problems. There are a couple of reasons why the page not availble type messages can occur but the most likely reason is that the URL entered or the link clicked on is incorrect. It should be http://members.tripod.co.uk/jonbanjo/hearme.htm. Jon |

Subject: RE: Hearme -now From: Jeri Date: 03 Apr 00 - 06:47 PM I know I'm being pedantic, but way the heck up near the top, Mbo said he did Muir and the Master Builder by Dick Gaughan. Brian McNeil wrote it. I did Blackleg Miner and Twa Corbies. |

Subject: RE: Hearme -now From: Dulci46 Date: 03 Apr 00 - 06:53 PM I think I got it now! I hope gonna see if I can get Kendall to go there now. He was going to sing "Blind Boys Dog" for me. |
|
Subject: RE: Hearme -now From: Mbo Date: 03 Apr 00 - 07:03 PM Yes, Jeri, I know Brian MacNeill wrote it. That's why I did it back to back with "Steel Man", because Brian wrote both of the songs. --Mbo |
