Subject: RE: Lyr/Chords Req: Where I'm Bound From: DonMeixner Date: 16 Apr 00 - 11:31 AM Actually John, I believe its a D minor which is how I learned it, but an F would probably work just fine. I'm sitting here in my office figuring this out on my office autoharp and I just had a a brief mental lapse as I was playing. Don |

Subject: RE: Lyr/Chords Req: Where I'm Bound From: Ulli Date: 16 Apr 00 - 12:39 PM Thanks for all the answers - did't know that song by Paxton - but the one I meant is not that one. It has to do with dying and getting ready for that last journey. It sounds rather like a (kind of) gospel song (my version was song by a woman). Is that information of any help? Thanks;ulli |

Subject: RE: Lyr/Chords Req: Where I'm Bound From: Malcolm Douglas Date: 16 Apr 00 - 01:06 PM Paxton's song is on the DT. There's a gospel song, COME AND GO WITH ME, which could possibly be what you're looking for? Malcolm |

Subject: RE: Lyr/Chords Req: Where I'm Bound From: Ulli Date: 16 Apr 00 - 04:31 PM No, it's not that one either, sorry. I remember one or two lines which go something like this ...when I get to where I'm going, I hold my head up high... ...I will take the last train out, ...going to where I'm bound... if by chance you see me there'll be no sorrow on my face.. if you should see a diamond fall down from the sky it is just a teardrop from the corner of my eye, goodbye as I fly to where I'm bound... Is that of any help? |

Subject: RE: Lyr/Chords Req: Where I'm Bound From: Dale Rose Date: 17 Apr 00 - 06:59 PM Apparently Patty Loveless (one of the few country singers of today that I would go see) did a song called Where I'm Bound by Britt & Burgess on her Long Stretch of Lonesome album from 1997. I have not heard it, and I didn't find a sound clip, but it sounds like this might be what you are looking for. |
