Im hope that you guys can help me. Im looking for the name of a artist and video that I used to see on tv a couple of years ago. I don't know the name of the video or artist I can only give you a description of the video. It had a celtic\new age pagan theme. I remember people dancing with masks like an old european/celtic celebration. It was a woman singing. I remember part of the words where talking about the ' great divine' or 'great divide'.I think it is a celtic or folk song that takes place in a old time celebration. All the people in the video was wearing midevil/celtic clothing and i think masks. I haven't seen that video in a couple of years and I would be very thankful if some one could look up the name of the artist and video because i think it was a good song.

Lorrena McKennitt.. I'm not sure the song title off ahnd but I suspect it's off either "Mask And Mirror", or "The Book OF Secrets"

The video with the mummers in it right?

That's what I was thinking, bob jr, but that was more than just a couple years ago. I would lean towards Loreena McKennitt--I remember she almost reached a sort of pop status a couple years ago. . .

I'm pretty sure that I'm right about this one (for once!). the Mummer's Song was played on the radio too. I think it may have been on a movie soundtrack, but I don't know for sure about that.

the song safety dance is in the movie biodome which starred um steven baldwin and polly shore

Hotspur: You are indeed correct. It is Loreena McKennett. The album (CD) is The Book of Secrets and the song title is The Mummers Dance. I have the CD actually and it's quite good. Reguards, Neil
