Violin Dealers

Can anyone suggest a reputable dealer or dealers for antique european violins- more 'concert' type instruments than 'folk'- in either Montreal or (second choice) New York City?

Not necessarily looking for a recommend of a specific dealer, only suggestion of those that are reputable.

Probably not a dealer, but there is/was a luthier shop in Montreal called Wilder and Davis. This might be a starting place.

Greg, its not the dealing that's hard, but shuffling them is a bummer.

Builds, reconditions, deals both.

Studied in Germany. Good guy, too.

'Spaw, no prob. at all- ya get yourself one a them machines... stack the violins in the top, turn the crank on the side, hey, presto! They come out the bottom all shuffled. ;-)
