Just a posting to alert any Newport, Rhode Island-bound players/singers of a fabulous open mic night at Billy Goode's Pub on West Marlborough Street in Newport. Drop by (or call ahead) any time after 8:30PM, every Thursday night, and sign up with host, Jim McGrath. Great crowd, food until midnight, fairly-priced drinks, lots of musical surprises, including famous drop-in guests, and a welcoming host make for a great night. Really, this is Newport's best-kept secret! Need directions?
