Could anyone please give me the verses for this chorus.

I love every blade of green grass in the valley, every leaf on the tree, every rock on the strand. I love the old shamrock and the murmuring fountains, I love my old coishna(?) my home native land.

Lines from some of the verses contain :-

There's dear little isle o'er the westering ocean

It's Ireland, God bless her, she's beautiful nation, The land of the patriot, the scholar, the saint.

I believe the song was recorded in the sunny long ago by the McPeat(?) Family

You'll find the words here:

http://www.people.fas.harvard.edu/~ndrose/texts/burketext.html

A quick search on Google for "there's a dear little isle over the western ocean" found them for me - though without the quotes; Google doesn't like quotes. There's a few songs on the page - it's three or four down.

Would that be the McPeake family?

How about pasting them in here as well? That way when someone sees this thread in years to come, in case that link is no longer current, it will be here.

The text of the song is already here, in a thread from a few months back:  My Own Dear Native Land

A search for dear little isle found it straight away.
