My dad's 76 birthday is approaching, and all he wants is to know the title of a song he used to love. He believes it is a ballad, with a man dying (?by sword?) and coming back as a single drop of rain. I have searched with no luck. Any ideas? [e-mail]

I wonder if this Johnny Cash song is the one? It has a story that is vaguely like your father's. (last verse)
