Does this song have words? If so, can someone provide them?

Thanks

Lindsay

There is a well known song in the DT called "The Gallant Forty Twa", is this what you mean?

Lindsay is it this tune on the midi to Wha Saw the 42nd? click hereThe midi tune isn't exactly as our family sings it, possibly we have somehow mixed the tune of Scotland the Brave into the mix, but at least there is a midi here. The again this may not be what you are looking for either.

Thanks for the input. My real problem is being a Scot in America. Some day I'll visit Scotland, hope I'm welcome there.

You are indeed looking for Wha Saw The 42nd, a small formulaic and much loved kids lyric sung to the tune of the Jacobite song Wha Wouldna Fecht For Chairlie.
