Does anybody know where Fred Neil is, and why he doesn't perform? I happened upon a article about him in Mojo magazine this summer. Fascinating. But there was answer to either of the questions above.

Skunk,not sure the relation between Fred Neil and Turley Richards,but I haven't heard Turley's name in a coon's age.He was quite active in the singer/songwriter scene in Louisville Ky back in the late 60s early 70s.

Could this be the same Turley Richards (real name Richard Turley) I used to listen to in New York around that same time?

Sounds like the same guy. At the time I heard him he was blind in one eye as the result of a childhood accident and was losing sight in the other eye.
