About 30 years ago I heard a funny song sung by Ragtime Bob Darch. It is about a man who picks up a lady in a bar, only to take her home to find out she is not what she seemed to be. any help tracking the song,words or chords would be appreciated. Thanks U.B.

I dunno. I searched both google and hotbot for "great big chested woman" and all I found was porno sites. I'd think a better way to find the song would be to post a request right here at the Mudcat Cafe. My Brother Sylveste comes up when you search Mudcat for big chest, but I believe he's the wrong gender (good song, though).

Gently, gently, un-named guest. UkeBob was probably well aware that inserting the words in the title of this thread into Google or any other search engine would merely produce a list of porn sites, whereas in Mudcat he might get a more positive response.

However, I can't help, UB, the nearest I could get would be a lamentable "calypso" called "Big Panty Woman" about which the less said the better!

As I mentioned to UkeBob, my mother used to know Ragtime Bob Darch quite well (they may have played together in the 40s) but I never heard HER mention "Big Chested Woman". I'm going to ask Mose Scarlett. He knows a lot of songs like that. If he doesn't know, maybe he'll ask his friend Leon Redbone. I'm also gonna check with Hamilton's Jackie Washington. We'll come up with it Bob.
