Subject: Rainycamp and SingTime Frolics From: mg Date: 03 Jan 01 - 12:19 AM If you live in or can visit the Seattle or Portland area in March or Feb. you should consider going to one or both of these camps. They are $60 for ST and $70 for RC. Both about 45 or so miles ??? out of town in summer-type camps with cabins etc. They are a lot of fun. RC is in early feb and ST late March. I don't have my fliers handy. Register soon. mg |

Subject: RE: BS: Rainycamp and SingTime Frolics From: kimmers Date: 04 Jan 01 - 04:46 PM Where is the Portland-area weekend held? I couldn't tell from the website, but the facilities looked familiar (of course, most camps look alike to me). |

Subject: RE: BS: Rainycamp and SingTime Frolics From: mg Date: 05 Jan 01 - 11:51 PM I can't say for sure..and I odn't know where I put my flyer..probably the recycling..I always hitch rides since I am carless...think it is on the Sandy river somewhere south of Portland...anyway, especially the new people who have written asking about song circles etc...this is the best way to meet people and find out about various things...and if you can make both events, plus others in B.C. later on in the summer, you will be in pig heaven..mg |

Subject: RE: BS: Rainycamp and SingTime Frolics From: Mark Cohen Date: 06 Jan 01 - 01:51 AM Singtime Frolics was wonderful last year, especially being there with my 5 year old daughter who was then in Eugene. Sadly, now that she and my X2B (still working hard on eliminating the 2B part) are in Boulder, making all those trips to Colorado to see her has made it well nigh impossible to make any other trips to the Mainland. But I hope one of these years to be back to Singtime, and maybe RainyCamp (as well as Camp Harmony and Puget Sound Guitar Workshop and Crescent Beach in BC and.....) Say hi to everybody for me, everybody! Aloha, Mark |

Subject: RE: BS: Rainycamp and SingTime Frolics From: Barbara Date: 06 Jan 01 - 03:53 AM Singtime Frolics is held at Camp Adams, out in the tullies east and south of Portland. East of Woodburn, of Molalla, and near Colton, if you have a map, and I think it's about an hour from Portland. Looks like we will have to miss Rainy Camp this year, but we'll be at Singtime. Just back from Harmony, Mark and folks asked after you. Saw Radriano, Joe Offer, Bev and Jerry, and lessee, I know there were more mudcatters there... Blessings, Barbara |
