What are you looking for specifically?

If you type in @hymn in the Digitrad Lyrics Search Help at the top of this page you'll get links to the words of about 20 hymns.

There's also quite a lot of discussion threads about religious music.This one Help: O Come All Ye Faithful provides lots of info on the origins of this well-known hymn.

Yes, Cliffha - there is discussion of religious music here. There are requests for lyrics to particular songs, threads discussing spirituals, Christmas music, etc. It's an open forum, and any discussion you might want to begin on an aspect of religious music would be most welcome. The membership relects many beliefs and non-beliefs, religious, pagan, whatever. We generally respect each other's preferences and convictions in what we believe or not believe, so have at it, Cliffha, and welcome to the Mudcat!

Welcome to the forum, Cliffha. There is a wonderful family of people from all over the globe who share their thoughts and opinions on many, many topics here. Mostly, they are decent and helpful people, but we all have our bad days. And, because this is an open forum, there are occasional people who are, well, not so nice. Said another way, although we are a "virtual" family, you've probably encountered people just like us in the real world as well.

Seriously though, any type of music will usually find a response here, you may not like the response but you will get one.

You can find the lyrics to "Irish Ways & Irish Laws" at Phillip Ceilin's "Land of the Free" site. Being barely techno-literate, I haven't yet mastered the art of blue clicky things. Maybe somebody else can do that for you.
