Help! Mudcat has forgotten who I am and I can't log on as a member anymore, but get incomprehensable messages like the following

"To login to another an account from the pre-revamped Mudcat, enter your email address and hit submit."

What do I do now? Edmund Flynn

This has happened to me twice already. I just take part as GUEST. The messages get through anyway and that's the important thing.

Edmund, this is perhaps a dumb question, but did you try entering your e-mail address and hitting submit?

Annraoi, the cookies do expire occasionally, and you just have to go to membership and click on "reset cookie."

If you have still have problems, please feel free, as Morticia mentioned, to click on "Help" up at the top of this page and post a message in the help forum.

Yeah - membership problems are supposed to be handled in the Help Forum, but it doesn't help to send them there if they've already started a thread here. Jon or Jeri or I will find Help requests in either location, although the preferred location is the Help Forum.
Annraoi, there may be a bit of a problem with you because there are two people who want to claim the same user name. I wonder if both of you can e-mail me privately so I can fix things for you. Send me your real name, any e-mail addresses you may have used when you registered at Mudcat, and your home address, or at least the name of the city where you live - I have to be rasonably sure who you are before I give out password information.
I'm off to teach a class at church, but I'll fix things for you tonight or tomorrow.
