I'd like some experienced opinion regarding the quality of acoustic presence of a cutaway version of a quality guitar (e.g. Martin, Lowden) compared to a full-body of the same model. Will the cutaway have a lesser acoustic presence?

I have a cutaway model Japanese-era Lowden and it does not seem to lack any presence compared to the equivalent full-bodied model but, as mentioned in many threads here, each guitar is very individual.

I don't think it makes a big difference. Some luthiers claim the "shoulders" project relatively little energy.
Other factors/variations in construction and material probably have more effect, good or bad.
