When the auction has one day left, when does it end ? that day or the next day ? When it is the last day, when does it end ? midnight ? I sure hope it's not midnight because that's 0100AST where I am, and I go by the old adage, "Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man wonder who won the game."

Actually gnu, we do need some sort of plan on who notifies whom, how payment is handled, notification of shipment. There is some confusion.

I like confusion. It's part of my day. Some days, it's all day. As for the hour, it IS the www, so I hope I didn't seem selfish when I weened about staying up until Zero One Dark Hundred Hours. Anyway, I'd just like to know the rules. I asked Max, but he was uncertain as well. Who's Captain of this ship ? We should ask her to set the standing orders AHEC.

Sarah2....Well, seeing as how I'm down about too many thousands so far in this first of the next thousand years, probably nothing, unless I can stay up all night and squeak by, although I don't hold out much hope for that. With my luck, I'll have another day like today - I awoke to the gentle tweet, tweet, tweet of the garbage collection truck's brakes at 0316h and couldn't stop thinking about work. Had two pots of tea gone before bfast. Tonight's an early night.... DRAT !!! I have to stay up tonight. Tradition, you know. This is Gnu 'Eve. The beast is 44 years old tomorrow. Not quite as wild as years gone by, but still a gnu. Can't break tradition !

bert... I am not understanding. If I put in a winning bid before it's over, I win. If I put in a winning bid after it's over, I lose. I have dealt with tenders for years and the last thing I would do is try to buy something after the tender had closed. It's not only wrong, wit' the girls I goes wit', you could lose your youknows, an' I needs me unos.

It's the American beer talking...well, it's an American name, brewed in Canada, so, by law of the marketplace, it must have at least an eqivalent amount of spirit. gnu, I just checked the auction, and did not see a bid from you on the item that is ending tonight? Since the auction is "dated" through Mudcat, I am willing to bet the auction ends at Midnight, Mudcat time, which is Eastern Time, USA. When Mudcat's clock clicks to Midnight, I'll bet the auction automatically closes.
