Subject: Chicago Area Catters and Folkies From: wysiwyg Date: 16 May 01 - 04:44 PM Hardi and I will be in Wheaton May 22-28 on a family matter. Because we must let each day revolve around this (and I prefer not to elaborate), we definitely cannot entertain various good ideas that we normally would, like traveling around the area to meet people or see a show or visit a great venue or see a folk master perform. But we are bringing instruments and Hardi's brothers play, and we can jam on the premises, probably with PortaStudio handy. And we would probably really appreciate some good old fashioned fun if it can come to us without too much advance planning. So if you would like us to give you a call on short notice if we spot an open evening when you could join us, and if you can use online maps to get your own directions to an address near the Morton Arboretum, please e-mail me and we'll holler if the right time comes along. I really debated about even starting this thread but... if it can work I think we could use an uptempo face, so... well, whatever. (Click HERE to e-mail me.) ~Susan |
