I know Rick's show, Acoustic Workshop, is on tonight, Monday, June 4th, from 7-8pm Toronto time, right?

Bill Sables, Sam Pirt, and Ian Stephenson are on their way to be on the show.

I found the link to the listen live link HERE at CIUT, but when I click on it, I get a error message that the link doesn't work. Anyone have an updated one?

I don't want to miss this show! Thanks!

Normally I get rebuffed a lot, but not tonight. Anybody know why? Also, when Rick came on, it sounded like he was in a well with an echo. I closed RealPlayer and opened it again, sounds great now!

someone PLEASE past the URL you are using in here, just the plain URL, so I cna copy and paste. It says it cannot find the server because it doesn't have a DNS and that is from THEIR site!

Thanks, Noreen and Burke. Burke that is the same one that comes up on my Real Player. The error message I keep getting says "Cannot find the server. This server does not have a DNS number."

Oh, well, I heard a wee bit on the phone and it was great to talk with them all, even got to hear PeterT, for the first time!

Did anyone out there happen to tape the show?

Kat, good to hear you on the show! I posted a link on another thread, but it still wouldn't have worked.

I had an idea (ooh-scary). Even if the show's over, if you want to see if this one works, I sort of know what happened.

I know little about how the internet works, but I think your ISP has to have some sort of index of what addresses go with what IP numbers in order to find them. I linked to the IP number, not the text name of the server. Of course, I could very well be talking out of parts of my anatomy best unmentioned.

Good show although the engineer leaves a lot to be desired. Great hearing the boys and I'm sure they're having a fine time tonite at Hugh's.

Good show. I had the pleasure of meeting Bill last summer at the Toronto Mudcat Gathering. One of the most entertaining people I've met. It sure was interesting to hear Spaw's voice. Didn't sound anything like I thought he would. Kat was more what I'd expected.

I really enjoyed the fellas and their music. They work wonderfully together.

Guys, have a wonderful time in Niagara Falls. Enjoy the rest of the trip. Make sure that 'Spaw gets you a feed of Pork Rinds and don't let him feed you a breakfast without grits. Sorry that I couldn't make Hugh's Room. I do plan on getting into T.O. in about a month to hear Rick's new band.
