Subject: RE: Man Walks Among Us--Chords and lyrics? From: Joe Offer Date: 24 Jun 01 - 11:49 PM Ah, Sorcha, I gotta teach you to search here at Mudcat first (click). That does help, because then it establishes that we already have the song, and it doesn't need to be posted again. If you really want to help, you could say the song has been posted here (click) in the forum and has/has not been harvested for the Digital Tradition. This song has been harvested. Thanks. -Joe Offer- |

Subject: RE: Man Walks Among Us--Chords and lyrics? From: Bob Bolton Date: 26 Jun 01 - 04:33 AM G'day Equalrice, Yes, we just heard Faith singing it out here in the Antipodes (March/April ... our early Autumn). I saw and heard her at the Illawarra Folk Festival in Jamberoo, New South Wales and then at the Australian National Folk Festival at Canberra, in the Australian Capital Territory. Undoubtedly, Alison would have also seen her then. Faith is a wonderful lady, and has a beautiful gentle way with a song ... even when you notice a few bruises later! Regards, Bob Bolton |

Subject: RE: Man Walks Among Us--Chords and lyrics? From: pavane Date: 26 Jun 01 - 06:28 AM Who decides what songs to harvest, and when? Are there any criteria for eligibility? Hi, Pavane - the harvesters are Susan of DT, Jim Dixon, and Joe Offer. We harvest just about everything that would be of interest to fok musicians, although we get a little slow to harvest commercial stuff like country and pop. I harvested this one this week - but maybe it was in another thread. We send the lyrics in to Dick Greenhaus, and he & Susan make the final decision about what gets into the database. -Joe Offer- |
