Subject: Frank Lee & Rayla Gellert From: chip a Date: 09 Jul 01 - 03:28 PM We were lucky to find these two at Sue's Coffee House in Nantahala Gorge below Bryson City N.C. on Sat night. He is Frank Lee of the Frieght Hoppers. She can sing and fiddle like nobody's business. They're a warm, friendly couple with talent and skill to spare. See them if you have a chance. Great string band stuff. Besides, anyone with a "my president is Uncle Dave Macon" bumper sticker, a mastertone with a skin head and a second banjo made from a wooden bucket can't be half bad! Anybody else familiar with these two? Chip A. |
