Help: Pubs/Clubs/Sessions in the N of Ireland

Hi everyone,

Me and my wife are going to travel the north & west of Ireland this september. Our route will be roughly:

Larne -> Donegal -> Mayo -> Galway -> Armagh (from Galway via Athlone/Clonmacnoise) -> Larne

Can anyone provide hot tips for unforgettable folk or country or bluegrass sessions on the way, or knows a great club or pub that must not be missed, or has info about gigs in September? All I know is there's a bluegrass festival in the Ulster Heritage Park at that time, can you recommend it?

Hi There is a very good wed night session in the Drumnagreagh Hotel just north, up the coast from Larne. It a good mixture of traditional, folk, bluegrass. Starts about 9.00pm ends ---- well sometime the next morning.
