How to type lyrics

I would like to be able to type lyrics or poetry that has the form of poetry rather than that of prose. I think there was a question like that before, but I don't know how to access the response. Thanks.

See  Posting Lyrics  in the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) thread at the top of the threads list on the main Forum page.  An update to the site is imminent, which will remove the need to add html linebreaks, but I should still read the guide; it gives a lot of useful information.

Thank you Malcolm. Checked the FAQ thread and copied out the instructions. Now I will try them out to see whether I can follow instructions!

When I was young they said to wait
But now they say that's out of date
etc.
