Help: pop-up tamer

I recall a mention within the last few months of a technique to eliminate pop-ups. I thought I had traced the thread, but I didn't. Can anyone direct me to the thread, or explaing the technique? Thanks.

Oh my life has been bliss since I got my PUK..... but when the speaker is on it does make a noise like a machine gun..... what the hell, it's a small price to pay to get rid of that bloody casino popup.

If that doesn't do it for you, do a history and look for the Paltalk threads - that's where the popupkillers first made an appearance.

LtS, you can turn off the sound. I didn't know that was where the sound was coming from, at first. I thought it was from a website that wouldn't close!
