There's mention of the song in this thread (click). Spud Murphy says it was recorded by Burl Ives on a children's record.
All I could find was a couple of phrases:

Didn't know folkcat was a memeber......I used the Forum Search in Quick Links to find the thread. It updates faster than SuperSearch, and you don't have to remember exact phrases.
