I used to be a regular with the HearMe sessions and concerts, but when things moved to Paltalk I couldn't access it. Then I got fixed up, and it worked--for a few weeks, and then kerflooey!

I'm finally up and running with PalTalk again, but haven't seen anything mentioned here about it for a long time, and I haven't seen any rooms labeled Mudcat there.

What's happening, if anything, with PalTalk get-togethers? Concerts?

Incidentally,in case there is interest, I'm planning on doing a PalTalk concert in a few weeks, as I did the HearMe concert last October or so.

I've been out of town a lot and have missed Paltalk. I think a lot of people have had hectic summer schedules but are anxious to get back in some kind of routine. I look forward to hearing you, so let us know when you're singing.

I've been out of the loop - have great difficulty getting a good enough connection to run paltalk - and even when I can listen it normally isn't good enough to broadcast...plus haven't been able to get to it at very convenient times. I do miss it greatly.

As far as remember, Bigchuck indicated he was stopping organising concerts for the summer (I think because of too many things going) but I hope they will start again.

There has been a move to get a regular "European" meeting in the Snug on Thursdays at 9:00 BST. (3:00PM Mudcat time). I don't know what the room does at other times.

Frank opens his "Toledo Folk" room up a few times, sometimes for singing and other times for special events.

I haven't been into Paltalk much late at night (for me) but other 'Catters may still be around once in a while like Alison with her "Celtic Friends" room and of course there are often a few 'catters to be found in the "Live and Unplugged Rooms". It's often just a case of looking around for a bit.

I have been very busy over the summer and probably will be for a few weeks yet. I'd like to get some concerts going again around October or Nov. The Mudcat concert room still exists; it is no longer password protected and is available to anyone who would like to use it, either for a concert or a song circle. Just PM me and I'll share the the admin code....several people already have it, I believe, including Noreen and Ivan. As soon as my schedule regularizes, I'll try to open it one night a week for a song circle, maybe Thursdays after the Eurosnug.
