Subject: I loe Nae a Laddie but ane - midi From: richardw Date: 09 Sep 01 - 07:39 PM Can anyone help? I am looking for a midi of Burn's "I loe nae a laddie but ane." I have the words and I know the tune is based on "Believe me if all those endearing young charms." but that tune does not really fit the lyrics I have. Any suggestions of where to look. Subject: RE: Tune Req: I loe Nae a Laddie but ane - midi From: masato sakurai Date: 09 Sep 01 - 10:31 PM Almost the same tune as "My Lodging Is On the Cold Ground," "Believe Me If All Those Endearing Young Charms" and "Fair Harvard," but there are differences in some places between the version in Scots Musical Museum (no. 276) and "Believe Me." That's why the tune doesn't fit well. Sorry, as I have not learned the ABC notation yet, I can't send you the tune. Masato
