Subject: RE: Lyr Add: DE GOSPEL TRAIN (not Git on Board) From: GUEST Date: 21 Nov 01 - 07:24 PM Dicho, I really appreciate your contributions. It would however be good if you'd put direct links to the Lomax pages, rather than a convoluted way of finding them |

Subject: RE: Lyr Add: DE GOSPEL TRAIN (not Git on Board) From: Dicho (Frank Staplin) Date: 21 Nov 01 - 07:54 PM 1. I ain't learned how to link and don't really want to (so you may not believe my 2nd reason). 2. We are making it too easy to copy material off a site. In this case, copyright may not apply since American Memory is MOSTLY set up as public domain, but it is a good workable site which should be used, not short-cutted. OK, I am primitive in some of my beliefs; I was disappointed that napster was not fined in the millions, not just slapped on the wrist. |

Don't worry about the "blue clicky thing" because it is an annoyance. It is common intellectual courtesy to credit the sites from which you "steal" the material, with a direct date, page, source acknowledgment.
It is easy, it is quick, and anything else is direct thievery. It is time you became an "honest woman." Get married to common proprieties.
Sincerely, |
