Subject: RE: BS: celtic friends open now on paltalk From: Jon Freeman Date: 13 Dec 01 - 09:02 PM Just one more plug in case anyone feels comeing in (perhaps after the snug). Alison has played some Solas and an accordian player whos name escapes me. I played a Lunasa track and a 20/30's recording of the Flannagan brothers. Makes a nice change listen to the recordings others have. Live is of cousre welcome too. Jon |

Subject: RE: BS: celtic friends open now on paltalk From: GUEST Date: 14 Dec 01 - 06:05 AM Big John, Hopefully Bob Bolton, a regular mudcatter who is an Australian folk music expert will see this thread and give you the lyrics. BTW, I may be wrong but I believe 'go n-éirí an bóthar leat' really means 'may the road be well for you' or 'good luck on your journey'. After all, who would want the road to be all uphill! Go n-éirí leat! |
