Subject: Hop High Ladies Obscure Verse From: Finn McCool Date: 06 Mar 02 - 11:22 AM There's a verse to Hop High Ladies a/k/a Uncle Joe that I have been unable to find on any lyrics web site. It starts "If you want to get to Heaven I'll tell you what to do" and ends "and slide right over to the Promised Land". The only recording on which I heard this verse is, of all things, an old Boys of the Lough CD, from a studio session they had in California. Anyone out there know it? --Finn |
