I am trying to find the words to a ditty my grandmother use to sing about being in the rye or catching someone in the rye, I can not remember now. I use to. Please help if you can. I need it for a paper I am writing for my grandchildren. Thank you.

How about "Comin' thro the Rye"? The Bobby Burns lyric is in the database.

There was also a version where the chorus went:

If a body meet a body, Comin' through the rye; If a body kiss a body, Need a body cry?

And I don't remember any more than that, either!
