Subject: 'I Love a Rabbit' From: Rich_and_Dee Date: 22 Apr 02 - 11:53 AM Hi When my wife was a kid her mom used to sing a song to her with the lyrics: "I love a rabbitt A crazy, crazy rabbit Hop hop bunny bunny Hop hop bunny bunny Hop hop, ho ho, hop hop..." You get the idea. The song has sort of a 1930's-1940's novelty song feel to it. I looked it up on the internet and found it listed in a collection of camp songs. Anyone know the origins of this ditty? My wife now sings it to our 4-year old son, so this is the 3d generation to hear it. Just curious. Thanks, Rich |
