'Encore' software

I'm just getting a song down on the page using 'Encore' and i've had a blank spot about how to write the words under the staff. Could anybody who uses Encore remind me please?

Click on the Windows menu in the toolbar, select the Palette option, then click on "Graphics" palette. In it you will see a tab marked with a capital L in a box (for "lyrics") and another one with a capital T (for "text"). If you're notating a song, Lyrics is probably the one you want (remember you can move the coloured arrow on the left of the staff to adjust the height of the line) but Text is handy for a lot of things too. Bonus bit of info: The one marked C will give you chord symbols. Good luck!
