The print on my screen is very small and the small print is almost invisible. How do I reset the print to "normal" size? Please make the answer SIMPLE. Thanks guys.

What browser are you using? In most, you can define your preferred font sizes to some extent. In Netscape, go to EDIT - PREFERENCES - APPEARANCE - FONTS. In IE, you want VIEW - TEXT SIZE. In Opera, the path is FILE - PREFERENCES - FONTS & COLORS.

Thanks Malcolm. "View - text size" did the job. Now, why didn't I think of that,!!!

Big John, I quit asking myself questions like that. The answer always comes back, "Incredible Stupidity."

And the really annoying thing is that I have downloaded a mountain of song lyrics in "normal" print size which I can just about see when I could have enlarged the print. Thanks to Malcolm I can face face the future with an ENLARGED viewpoint.

Should you need it off-web, in Start - Control Panel - Display, click the "Appearance" tab and you'll probably find you're set at "Windows Standard" unless you've messed with it. There is also a "Windows Large" and "Windows Extra Large," and possibly some others depending on your Win version, that you can try out. Makes all the "bars" and text bigger, although it may mess up your desktop spacings.

In Opera, all I do is hit the + or - button and it increases or decreases 10%..in Mozilla there is a menu under 'view' for the % you want, or 'ctrl +' will up it one step....I am VERY close to stopping using Netscape altogether, as Mozilla is Netscape's offspring, without the AOL baggage. (and coming on fast is Phoenix, which is Mozilla without the bloat of mail & news added in)....MANY choices these days...

Re the downloaded music files. If you printed direct from the web, you're pretty much stuck with what you've got, unless you have a scanner (or a friend with one) to put them back in the machine and enlarge them.

I usually do a "save as" to file on anything that I think might be worth printing, even if I actually print it at the time. If I still have the "file," I can usually make any changes I need and reprint it. And it always seems like the print gets lost - or covered with coffee spills, while the downloaded file is always safely "somewhere in that stack of backup CDs." Now if I could just remember which CD...

Big John -
the reason you didn't think of it - was it because the print is too small to read it properly? Try a few things off line. Click history after you have disconnected and just play with the brwoser - you don't have to always waste time on-line reading it all unless you are going to post.

I get large text every time I click a link and scroll with my wheel too soon - infuruating. Trust two wheel cordless mouse - that's which one.
