I don't know if this will work...but hey...It's worth a try. I'm looking for information about a violin I own...I'm told it was made in the States (Maine). It's a full size violin, that I know was made in December of 1934 by a man/woman by the first/last name of KEARRMAN. It's a beautiful instrument, and it "fits" me quite well. I'm just curious as to the history behind this beautiful fiddle, just for interests sake.

thanks.

If you can't get an answer here try the newsgroups

rec.music.makers.bowed-strings

and

rec.music.makers.builders

I would say to try them in the order I have listed them

Good luck,

Murray

You could also try Fiddler Magazine or Strings Magazine. Both 'zines take Q&A.
