"La Espero" is the nonnational anthem of the Esperanto movement, formally played at our world congresses etc. If Esperantism had its own Olympic laureates, it would be played at the medal ceremonies. The tune normally used, which I think has been virtually universal since maybe 1920, is by Félicien Menu de Ménil: MIDI file: LaEspero.mid Timebase: 192 Name: Espero3 Text: Generated by NoteWorthy Composer Tempo: 104 (576923 microsec/crotchet) TimeSig: 4/4 24 8 Start 0576 1 67 110 0142 0 67 000 0002 1 67 110 0046 0 67 000 0002 1 67 110 0160 0 67 000 0032 1 64 110 0160 0 64 000 0032 1 72 110 0142 0 72 000 0002 1 67 110 0046 0 67 000 0002 1 76 110 0142 0 76 000 0002 1 72 110 0046 0 72 000 0002 1 79 110 0336 0 79 000 0048 1 76 110 0160 0 76 000 0032 1 67 110 0142 0 67 000 0002 1 72 110 0046 0 72 000 0002 1 76 110 0160 0 76 000 0032 1 72 110 0160 0 72 000 0032 1 79 110 0142 0 79 000 0002 1 76 110 0046 0 76 000 0002 1 76 110 0142 0 76 000 0002 1 74 110 0046 0 74 000 0002 1 74 110 0336 0 74 000 0048 1 72 110 0160 0 72 000 0032 1 67 110 0142 0 67 000 0002 1 67 110 0046 0 67 000 0002 1 67 110 0160 0 67 000 0032 1 64 110 0160 0 64 000 0032 1 72 110 0142 0 72 000 0002 1 67 110 0046 0 67 000 0002 1 76 110 0142 0 76 000 0002 1 72 110 0046 0 72 000 0002 1 79 110 0336 0 79 000 0048 1 76 110 0160 0 76 000 0032 1 71 110 0142 0 71 000 0002 1 76 110 0046 0 76 000 0002 1 79 110 0160 0 79 000 0032 1 76 110 0160 0 76 000 0032 1 79 110 0142 0 79 000 0002 1 78 110 0046 0 78 000 0002 1 76 110 0142 0 76 000 0002 1 75 110 0046 0 75 000 0002 1 78 110 0336 0 78 000 0048 1 76 110 0160 0 76 000 0032 1 76 110 0142 0 76 000 0002 1 76 110 0046 0 76 000 0002 1 77 110 0160 0 77 000 0032 1 69 110 0160 0 69 000 0032 1 71 110 0094 0 71 000 0002 1 71 110 0094 0 71 000 0002 1 72 110 0094 0 72 000 0002 1 74 110 0094 0 74 000 0002 1 67 110 0336 0 67 000 0048 1 69 110 0160 0 69 000 0032 1 69 110 0142 0 69 000 0002 1 69 110 0046 0 69 000 0002 1 71 110 0160 0 71 000 0032 1 72 110 0160 0 72 000 0032 1 74 110 0142 0 74 000 0002 1 74 110 0046 0 74 000 0002 1 75 110 0142 0 75 000 0002 1 75 110 0046 0 75 000 0002 1 76 110 0336 0 76 000 0048 1 77 110 0160 0 77 000 0032 1 67 110 0142 0 67 000 0002 1 67 110 0046 0 67 000 0002 1 67 110 0160 0 67 000 0032 1 64 110 0160 0 64 000 0032 1 72 110 0142 0 72 000 0002 1 67 110 0046 0 67 000 0002 1 76 110 0142 0 76 000 0002 1 72 110 0046 0 72 000 0002 1 79 110 0336 0 79 000 0048 1 77 110 0160 0 77 000 0032 1 77 110 0142 0 77 000 0002 1 77 110 0046 0 77 000 0002 1 76 110 0160 0 76 000 0032 1 67 110 0160 0 67 000 0032 1 76 110 0142 0 76 000 0002 1 74 110 0046 0 74 000 0002 1 77 110 0142 0 77 000 0002 1 71 110 0046 0 71 000 0002 1 74 110 0336 0 74 000 0048 1 72 110 0160 0 72 000 0032 1 67 110 0142 0 67 000 0002 1 67 110 0046 0 67 000 0002 1 67 110 0160 0 67 000 0032 1 64 110 0160 0 64 000 0032 1 72 110 0142 0 72 000 0002 1 67 110 0046 0 67 000 0002 1 76 110 0142 0 76 000 0002 1 72 110 0046 0 72 000 0002 1 79 110 0336 0 79 000 0048 1 76 110 0160 0 76 000 0032 1 67 110 0142 0 67 000 0002 1 72 110 0046 0 72 000 0002 1 76 110 0160 0 76 000 0032 1 72 110 0160 0 72 000 0032 1 79 110 0142 0 79 000 0002 1 76 110 0046 0 76 000 0002 1 76 110 0142 0 76 000 0002 1 74 110 0046 0 74 000 0002 1 74 110 0336 0 74 000 0048 1 72 110 0160 0 72 000 End This program is worth the effort of learning it.
