There is a midi with this at midi of the month and also at Rick's Music Pages

But (to me) the melody sseems to have too many beats for the lyrics.

Can anyone fit them together sensibly?

The tune is from Johnson's Scots Musical Museum (no. 144).
The words "coat" (twice) and "groat" are sung with two notes.
~Masato
