Well, we're still smirking about the weather these balmy winter days, so I am interested inknowing whether anyone would enjoy gathering in Balboa Park for some jamming on Sunday the 15th of December?

Banjoest, what do you think Bear would say about it? Talked to Pat, the imaginary banjo player and he says he's interested!

Well Amos, I would sure like to be there, but the ice and snow is piled so high around here I just can't make it out.(thats a lie)
I wish I could join you in some of that San Diego balmy weather, but I have to work and and soon will be scraping the ice off the wind shields every morning. We have actually had pleasant weather and would expect to see a change in that real soon.

Bear has been into football lately on Sundays. He might be able to pick on a Saturday. I'll ask him about both days.

Now, don't you folks go gloating about your glorious sunny, warm December weather!

Actually, it's bright, clear, and dry here in Portland today, mainly because of the wind ripping through the town. By Saturday, I think we're finally gonna get around to the kind of weather we're used to for December -- rainy (not just the measly drizzle we had for a couple of days this week)!

So do enjoy the park and the music, but don't rub it in!

Hey, Mike!!

Love the idea.

I believe JenEllen has a Gather scheduled in July and or August on the eastern slope of the Cascades -- perhaps you should synchronize with her and time it so we could swing through your place before or after!

Banjoest:

Pat the Imaginary Banjo Player says he'll make it 1:00 Sunday. So does Joe Renzi, who is blind and will have someone bring him by. Pat is about my height with a full head of black hair and a moustache. Joe is about 5'4, maybe 140, balding, with dark glasses. Take care of them if I show up late will ya?

See you there!!
