I am looking for guitar chords to the song Rye Whiskey, also called Jack of Diamonds or I'm a Rambler, I'm a Gambler I believe. If someone can help, could you email them directly as well as on the board. Thanks for your help.

There are a couple of versions in the DT database. Try a search on [Rye Whisk*]

I don't think any of the DT versions have chords, Dick. Some of us aren't very good at figuring chords out by ourselves. Can somebody help?

Joe- I have a thing about setting chords--I've become sick of people telling me that they're "the worng chords". If you have ABCMUS, there's a pretty good chord setting feature built in.

Dear dwf,

The more traditional version of this song is a two-chord wonder.

3/4 time(?)

(D)It's whiskey, rye whiskey, rye whiskey I cry.
If I don't get rye whiskey, I (A) surely will (D)die.

Hope you enjoy the tune!

Roger in Baltimore
