Subject: Rose Garden Competition Deadline Approaches

Hello all. The Rose Garden Coffeehouse in Mansfield, Massachusetts (near Boston) is now accepting entries for our 11th Annual Performing Songwriter Competition. Deadline is April 15.

Three finalists will be selected to appear in Mansfield on May 17 for our live finals just before the featured performance that evening. All entrants must be able to appear on this date in order to be considered as finalists. As always, there is no entry fee.

Our goal is to provide a new audience and wider exposure in the Boston area for promising performing songwriters. A panel of professional music industry judges will consider the finalists' performances and will announce their decision at the end of the evening.

The winner of this year's competition will be awarded a cash prize of $100, a featured booking during the 2003-2004 Rose Garden season, and a stage performance slot at the 2003 New Bedford (MA) Summerfest, one of New England's foremost summer music events.
